May I share something personal with you, right off the bat? Imagine tropical sea breezes gently lifting the leaves of a magical tree that’s heavy with mangos, papayas, bananas, avocados, and limes. (Doesn’t that sound delicious?)

My own dreams for myself are bearing an even more thrilling array of fruit than that! Right now I’m so excited, I feel fireworks going off in my chest. In fact, I took the coaching quiz you’ll find on this site and for the first time, I didn’t have one single “no” in my responses. Amazing.

Here I am, stepping out on the internet--for the first time--to celebrate the release of my first novel, The Hundredth Woman. I feel as if I’ve been in labor with this book for eight years and now... WOW! And The Hundredth Woman itself is giving birth to what I hope becomes an international community of hundredth women (What in the Heck Does “The Hundredth Woman” Mean?) supporting themselves and each other right here on this web site. Isn’t it a wondrous thing that because of the internet, it’s possible to write a book that celebrates change and then support that change in real live women all over the world?

The Hundredth Woman is a humorous, page-turning, soul-baring gabby girlfriend adventure story. It also manages to tuck into its pages much of the wisdom I have acquired over a lifetime of learning from two important sources.: indigenous people and my wonderful clients.

I’ve traveled five continents to learn from indigenous people, whose wisdom comes in to The Hundredth Woman through the grandmother of Clarissa, a mixed-blooded Cherokee environmental activist who is one of the main characters.

The main character, Morgan, is Clarissa’s therapist. She brings in the wisdom I have gathered by going within as native people have taught me to do and applying the wisdom I find there to my work with my clients, those brave and big-hearted souls who have allowed me to midwife them on their paths to creating the lives they want.

I loved presenting the three fiery women who are the heroes of The Hundredth Woman because they each have such different ways of dealing with how to reach the point where they are living their dreams by finding their life paths.

I work with Kate because she has that gift of knowing me better than I know myself. Kate works really hard to know me at my deepest levels. Her efforts really pay off for me, because I can better understand, for example, the obstacles I put in my way. I don't stay mired in confusion -- most often, Kate illuminates an issue for me that I could not quite grasp. Thus, we work through the difficult issues more quickly, and get to the "good stuff" (What do I want? How can I get it? Why am I here? How can I contribute?) faster!

Though I am trained as a therapist and worked in that field for many years, much of what I was really doing all along was what is now called coaching, working with my clients to help them build the futures they desire by finding the answers to their own big questions within.

Which reminds me to raise the question again,

Do you love your life
exactly the way it is?

Because if the answer is not a resounding yes, then explore the possibilities on this website. Through my book, coaching (either by me or by a coach I have trained), and/or the various other options described here on the website, at last we can custom-design a program that will help you create the life you want, just when you need it most.

Let's get the job done now!

Blessings to you.

Warmly,

Kate Green   •  PO Box 3127  •  Chapel Hill  •  NC 27515
