This quiz can be easily and clearly printed for your personal records.

Just answer the following questions in your mind with a simple yes or no--no maybes. BUT only write out your answer for any question you answer "no." (Don't worry about having several answers on some of them and one only on others.)

1. a) Do you wake up in the morning with your tale wagging?
    b) Do you usually look forward to going to work?
    c) Are you happy to see all the people with whom you have the most contact with on your job?
    d) Is your work satisfying?
    e) Is there a balance between work and personal time that fits you?
     f) Does the physical environment at work feel right to you?
    g) Does it feed you at a variety of different levels?
    h) Is your work as meaningful to you as you would like it to be?
     i) Is your relationship with money healthy?
     j) If there is something that seriously bugs you about your work, are you at peace with it?

2. Do you feel that you know who you are?

3. Are you true to yourself?

4. Does love flow through your day, filling you?

5. a) Do you know what you want?
    b) And how to make it happen?

6. a) Do nurturing and support flow to you?
    b) Through you?
    c) From you?

7. Is your world is filled with exciting possibilities?

8. Are you living your life purpose exactly?

9. Are you getting what you need sexually?

10. Do you know that you're making a difference?

11. a) Do you get the exercise your body needs?
     b) Is it enjoyable?
     c) When you take a deep breath and tune in to your body, do you feel good?

12. When you look in the mirror, do you see the person you've always wanted to be?

13. When you tune in to another human being, does your heart open?

14. When you gaze into the eyes of the people you love the most, is the space between you clean?
     Do you make sure that there aren't any unsaid things between you and your loved ones?
     Are you hiding anything from any of them?

15. a) Are you connected to all of nature, all of life?
      b) Do you have a routine in your life that connects you to the restorative aspects of nature each day?
      c) Is your life simple enough?

16. Are you able to embrace both joy and pain?

17. Are you glad that you're you?

18. Do you have the connection and belonging that you want?

19. Do you have a rich inner life?

20. Are you content in your relationship with spirituality?

21. a.) Whether you're single of partnered, childless or a parent, are you okay with it?
      b.) are your relationships strong?

22. Are you grateful for the good things in your life?

So, what was that like?

No matter how you answered that last question, take a deep breath right now and count your blessings. What you just did is demanding work and you deserve to experience gratitude right now. (Have you noticed what a great stress-buster gratitude is?)

Okay, now count up your "yes" responses and read them again. Mull them over and see how you feel about them. Do they feel like enough?

Remember to give yourself a pat on the back for your "yeses." Some of them are gifts, but many of them you worked diligently to create. Congratulations. The "yeses" on your list reveal your strengths, strengths you can use to turn around the the things in your life that aren't clicking for you.

Now count up your "no" responses and look them over. Some of them bother you more than others, right? Circle those. If there are some that hurt you at your core, double-underline them.

Give yourself some time to consider your "no's."

Really let yourself feel how these things are affecting your spirit.

What is it like for you to put up with them on a day-to-day basis?

After you've thought about that, think about this; your "nos" probably won't go away by themselves, right?

And chances are that you've already tried to do something about them.

So unless you're willing to live with these things--probably for the rest of your life--then it's probably a fabulous idea to ask for help.
